Funding from Hydro-Québec

Hydro-Quebec’s financial assistance programs:

offer funding to businesses, institutional, multi-residential and manufacturing customers. These subsidies assists in carrying out projects to reduce the electricity consumption of new and existing buildings as well as industrial systems.

To take part in either one of these programs, a customer must work with a partnering professional registered with Hydro-Québec, such as GORD Associates Consulting, who will perform the Energy Efficiency Study and who will manage the whole process with Hydro-Quebec using the required forms and tools.

If eligible, Hydro-Quebec’s funding will cover a portion of the energy consumption study realized by GAC and also a portion of the acquisition and installation costs for implementing electricity savings measures.

Whatever your energy optimization project may be, do not hesitate to contact us for more information as, from a simple visit of your facility, GAC can quickly determine whether this funding is available to you, all without any capital outlay from your part.

Exemple of financial assistance for a building optimization project :

Hydro-Quebec’s Empower Program for Building Optimization offers financial assistance to commercial, institutional and multi-residential customers, to carry out projects reducing the electricity consumption of new and existing buildings (including additions of 10 m2 or more) by at least 10,000 kWh/yr, calculated as the difference between the electricity consumption of a reference building before implementation of electricity-saving measures and the electricity consumption of the proposed building after implementation of the measures.

If admissible, the financing from Hydro-Québec will cover part of the costs of the study done by GAC and of the work (equipment and installation) to implement the energy saving measures in accordance with the following table :
